BURN PERMIT

When do you need a burning permit?

 

• Prior to burning any new ground, field, grassland, woodland, piled or scattered logging debris.

Air quality regulations do not apply.

Before burning anything call the Mississippi Forestry Commission to obtain a burn permit. In addition, check with your local city fire department ordinances to see if a burn permit is required before burning.
